"Another member of the Washington political media stepped forward Thursday to claim he was threatened by the Obama White House, shortly after the White House denied reports that an adviser threatened famed Watergate journalist Bob Woodward.
The latest claim comes from Lanny Davis, who served as counsel to former President Bill Clinton and later went on to write a column for The Washington Times. In a radio interview on WMAL, Davis said that a 'senior Obama White House official' once called his editor at the Times and said that if the paper continued to run his columns, 'his reporters would lose their credentials.' "The founder of Subway restaurants is slamming the government for harsh regulations he says hurt small businesses, saying he would not have been able to successfully start his company in today's climate. " ...
Why would anyone be surprised by this. Democrats don't like business of any type. They assume every business has lots of money and is cheating the public. They think it is their right to tax and regulate all business. That this makes no sense to anyone with a brain explains why there are so many Democrats.

"Bob Woodward called a senior White House official last week to tell him that in a piece in that weekend’s Washington Post, he was going to question President Barack Obama’s account of how sequestration came about - and got a major-league brushback. The Obama aide ‘yelled at me for about a half hour,’ Woodward told us in an hour-long interview yesterday around the Georgetown dining room table where so many generations of Washington’s powerful have spilled their secrets." ...
"Bob Woodward said this evening on CNN that a 'very senior person' at the White House warned him in an email that he would 'regret doing this,' the same day he has continued to slam President Barack Obama over the looming forced cuts known as the sequester.
CNN host Wolf Blitzer said that the network invited a White House official to debate Woodward on-air, but the White House declined.
'It makes me very uncomfortable to have the White House telling reporters, 'You're going to regret doing something that you believe in,'' Woodward said."
Only a reporter of Woodward's stature in the liberal media would get away with this. Sad to say the pattern of abuse of our liberties seems to be escalating under Obama.

Why would anyone trust the NYT with or for anything. I'm sure a lot of NYT reading liberals were buying the car because it's the trendy green thing to do and the NYT just gave them an out with their lefty buddies.

"To the Editor:
This letter was forwarded to Barack Obama, John Boehner, Chris Murphy, Dick Blumenthal, Elizabeth Esty, and Harry Reid
I live in Sandy Hook, CT. My family and close friends weren't harmed on December 14. That day impacted 26 families with an indescribable, staggering pain and anguish. For most of Sandy Hook, it merely affected us with an inescapable intensity of sadness and grief.
Gun control has long been a focus of many in this country. Though I'm not knowledgeable of all the nuances of the Second Amendment, based on the Founding Fathers' circumstances, it had far more to do with enabling the citizenry to protect themselves against tyrannical government than against local psychopaths. It is about providing a balanced firepower so when King George's successor came knocking on your door, you could fight back. Government today is no less inclined to abuse its authority than it was then. Based on the absurd and ongoing power grab that is present day Washington, it's as threatening as ever.
That so many of you view the NRA with its resistance to further restrictions on firearms as intransigent lunatics has far more to do with how you conduct yourselves in office than it does with the NRA's actions.
You in public office are fundamentally dishonest people. You lead lives of deception at every turn, structuring your lives as comfortably as you can while governing with an indifference and arrogance that is absolutely maddening. When the country is reeling from financial disaster, you waste a trillion dollars on a health care bill we can't afford and you've never read. You claim it's critical because health care costs are killing this country... no they're not, you are! You are killing this country. You endorse the ongoing slaughter of millions of unborn children and whine when terrorists are water boarded. You can't lecture us right in Newtown High School about not doing enough to keep our children safe, while simultaneously slaughtering the unborn. You fabricate the intense, media laden drama of the fiscal cliff and lack the courage to do anything about truly reforming the obscene gluttony of government. You know you'll be out of office before the bill comes due… you don't care and have no integrity nor honor.
You lie whenever and wherever you need to to move forth your agenda. Were you able, you would purge the US of guns… every last gun in the country, if you could. So please forgive Wayne LaPierre and those of us who don't trust you as far as we can spit. You're a dishonest lot, motivated by a distorted worldview. If mass murder prevention were truly your goal, you would welcome armed security wherever needed. It is outrageous that we protect our money with far more firepower than we protect our children.
I have never owned a gun, nor wanted to as intensely as right now. You'll stop restricting guns when only you have them.

Last summer a local Radford VA cookie shop refused to let Biden stop for a photo op. The cookie shop got a lot of press about it and is doing just fine.
However, the owner of the restaurant next door, a good and faithful democrat told the news that he would have welcomed Biden. He closed a month ago. It's not that letting Obama into your business that puts a pox on it, it's being a good and faithful democrat that doesn't know shit about running a business that's doing them in.

"Gas Prices Soar 51 Cents in Just Two Months February 18, 2013 Per gallon cost has risen every business day for a month.
By Julia Seymour Subscribe to RSS Consumers are taking another huge hit in 2013. First, the two percent Social Security tax hike began the year. Now, gas prices are soaring ever closer to $4 a gallon and have jumped 51 cents a gallon since Dec. 20.
According to the Oil Price Information Service, the national average for a gallon of unleaded was $3.21.9 on Dec. 20, 2012. Today, that price is $3.73.0. While there has been a steady increase, prices shot almost 9 cents just over the weekend.
This President's Day also marked a full month of rising gas prices every single business day, following a very small early year drop. Gas prices began rising Jan. 18, from $3.29.3-a-gallon, and have soared since. If this increase continues, gas prices could threaten or even top the all-time high price of $4.11, set in 2008.
February 2013 saw record high gas prices for the time of year according to news reports. CNBC noted the national average was the highest ever for the time of year on Feb. 1. As of Feb. 11, The Los Angeles Times reported that the national average that day ($3.587) was also a record, '7.8 cents higher than the record for Feb. 11, set last year.' Today's price is now 17.6 cents higher than 2012.
It took the media some time to catch on to rising gas prices, as 'Good Morning America's' Josh Elliot said two weeks after the climb began that 'we have just learned that gas prices have skyrocketed.'" ...
Of course this has absolutely nothing to do with Obama getting re-elected, no, nothing to do with that at all, just a coincidence is all.
SIMPLE TRUTH 1
Lovers help each other undress before sex.
However after sex, they always dress on their own.
Moral of the story: In life, no one helps you once you're screwed.
SIMPLE TRUTH 2
When a lady is pregnant, all her friends touch the stomach and say,
But, none of them come and touch the man's penis and say, "Good job".
Moral of the story: "Hard work is never appreciated."
FIVE RULES TO REMEMBER IN LIFE
1. Money cannot buy happiness, but it's more comfortable to cry in a Corvette than on a bicycle.
2. Forgive your enemy, but remember the ass-hole's name.
3. If you help someone when they're in trouble, they will remember you when they're in trouble again.
4. Many people are alive only because it's illegal to shoot them.
5. Alcohol does not solve any problems, but then neither does milk.
Condoms don't guarantee safe sex.

Biden Spends $1 Million Annually for Weekend Trips:Hail to the king...
"Every Friday, Biden takes a helicopter designated as Marine Two from the vice president’s residence to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland and then hops on Air Force Two to fly back to his home in Delaware. At the end of the weekend, he returns on Air Force Two, usually a Boeing C-32.
Vice President Biden boards Air Force Two. (AP Photo) During warm weather, Biden regularly returns to Andrews on the airplane on Saturdays to play golf at the Air Force base with President Obama. After the golf game, he flies back to Delaware and returns to Washington on the plane on Sunday evening — all at taxpayer expense.
The cost of flying Air Force Two is $22,000 an hour, so each half-hour trip to or from Delaware costs about $10,000. Each golf game costs taxpayers $20,000. At that rate, the annual cost to taxpayers of Biden’s weekend trips is well over $1 million." ...

"There have been 65,376,373 background checks completed for Americans purchasing firearms since February of 2009, the first full month of Barack Obama's presidency.
According to data compiled by the FBI, the number of Americans purchasing guns has skyrocketed since Obama was elected." ...
Ironic isn't it that the best way to reduce the number of guns is to un-elect those who want to take away our right to own guns.
According to this, Debbie Wasserman Schultz tried to pull one over on the press yesterday and totally got called out on it. In a conference call, she had a 'Medicare recipient from Florida,' Annett Capella, on hand to talk about how horrible and awful and terrible Marco Rubio is, in advance of his State of the Union rebuttal tonight.
Annette went on and on and on and on about how horrible and awful and terrible life would be for her and others like her if Medicare was changed and Rubio had his way. Because that's what Democrats do - they insist that changing a program which CANNOT LAST in its current state will hurt people, without bothering to tell them that if changes AREN'T made, then the program won't last anyway. They always leave that little tidbit of information out, because if they were honest, they'd risk losing voters. People with Actual Brains know this. Liberals, on the other hand....
ANYWAY, because Debbie McFrizz is patently incapable of being honest, you can imagine how awkward it must have been for her when a Palm Beach reporter asked her if Annette Capella was the same Annette Capella who heads up the St Johns Democratic Party.
Debbie hesitated, and then decided to let Annette answer. And Annette explained that she'd 'stepped down' from that role and is now just the Democratic state committeewoman for St Johns. Because that's super different, you see.
