Union leader takes aim at Obama administration over Keystone delays | Fox News

Early Senate Polls Have Plenty to Tell Us About November | FiveThirtyEight

Early Senate Polls Have Plenty to Tell Us About November | FiveThirtyEight

Everyone concedes that the reps will hold the house and many are showing that the reps have a good chance of taking the senate. But don't underestimate the dems and the MSM. The MSM has been told by the dems that if they don't get on board and start reporting that Obamacare is working, even if it isn't, then they will lose the senate. The MSM surely doesn't want that so I expect we'll see a change of coverage as we head towards November, just as we have in every other election.

How Americans Die

How Americans Die Bloomberg News

This is really interesting. If you look at screen 12 you'll see that the number of murders by firearm has decreased since 1995 and has been pretty flat for the whole time of this study. Accidental death by firearm has also been flat. Drug induced deaths have increased. Meanwhile Bloomberg himself is going to spend 50 million dollars trying to ban guns. Perhaps he should read his own data and spend the money of mental illness (suicides are high) and drug abuse prevention (also very high). He's rich and letting emotion guide him but he's not a very smart man.

Obama administration faces backlash on proposed wood stove regulations

Obama administration faces backlash on proposed wood stove regulations | Fox News

... "The EPA estimates that as much as 13 percent of all soot pollution in the U.S. is a result of inefficient wood-fired stoves and boilers.

The dispute pits several mostly urban states, mainly in the northeast, against some rural states such as South Dakota, which says the rules would impose an unfair burden on people in remote areas. About one in four South Dakota homes has a fireplace or wood stove.
Among those opposed to new rules are South Dakota Republicans Sen. John Thune and Rep. Kristi Noem, who say the new requirements will have a big impact on South Dakotans who rely on wood stoves during the long winter.
"Leave it to the EPA to impose more regulations on an affordable and renewable fuel source after one of the coldest winters on record and a costly propane shortage," Noem said." ...
I would say the EPA 'guesses' that "as much as" etc etc. Bullshit! I would challenge their facts and how they came up with them. Hell, they could as well say that, "as much as 500%" and be just as accurate...

"This is just a turkey pan that you purchase from your grocery store.  Add a half a gallon of water and some Dawn dish detergent.  Then,  shine a desk lamp on the pan of water.  The cost of this trap is around 7 dollars versus the other light traps that are up wards of thirty to fifty dollars," says Aigner.
