Senate Passes $3.7 Trillion Budget, Its First in 4 Years

Senate Passes $3.7 Trillion Budget, Its First in 4 Years:
After a grueling, all-night debate that ended close to 5 a.m., the Senate on Saturday adopted its first budget in four years, a $3.7 trillion blueprint for 2014 that would fast-track passage of tax increases, trim spending gingerly and leave the government still deeply in the debt a decade from now. ...

50 to 49. All reps against, all dems for, except for 4 up for reelection next year in red states. Probably the most contention was among the dems to see who could vote against it so they could lie to their constituents without actually being against it. Dems didn't get their tax and spend reputation from nothing. BTW this is a TRILLION dollar tax increase with puny spending cuts.
