In our recent election the pundits and pollsters had it all backwards, reversed from what actually happened. Trump won by the margin they claimed Hillary would win. But does it stop there. They asked the same people and did their analysis using the same tools they used to claim Trumps approval and disapproval numbers. Their other claims were wrong, why would any sane person think these are right.

For further evidence of that look at Jill Steins recount where they thought they might reverse H's loss. Instead Trump ended up with even more votes! Then look at the electoral college vote. The pundits thought she might turn it around and prevent Trump from getting the magical 270 votes. He got 304, 2 less than he won because of 2 defectors. Far short of the needed amount to stop him. What's even more interesting is that she lost 6 electors! Three times the number Trump lost. (2 were replaced making her official loss at 4, still twice Trumps loss.)

Using this information as a guide we can correctly conclude that instead of Trump having high negative numbers he actually has high positive numbers! Instead of low approval numbers, he has high approval numbers.

As for Obama's high approval number? It is really a low approval number.

From now on just take whatever these people claim and reverse it, or just take a wild ass guess. Either way you'll likely be more accurate than they are.

Fishing contest

How do you settle a presidential election when the vote is too close to call? With a fishing contest in northern Wisconsin in January, of course!

After the final votes were counted, Hillary and Donald were deadlocked.

Instead of going through a recount, they agreed to a week-long ice fishing contest to settle the election. Whoever caught the most fish at the end of the week would be the President.

They decided that a remote frozen lake in northern Wisconsin would be the ideal place. No observers on the fishing grounds, but both would need to have their catches verified and counted each night at 5 pm.

After Day 1, Trump returned with a total of 10 fish, Hillary came back with nothing.

Day 2 finished, and Trump caught another 20 fish, but Hillary once again came back with nothing.

That night, Hillary and her cronies got together and accused Trump of being a “low-life, cheating son-of-a-gun.” Instead of fishing on Day 3, they were going to follow and spy on him and figure out how he was cheating.

Day 3 finished up and Trump had an incredible day, adding 50 fish to his total!

That night, Hillary and her democratic cohorts got together for the full report on how Donald was cheating. Hillary stood up to give her report and said, “You are not going to believe this! He’s cutting holes in the ice!”

So it seems to me that the Democrats first have to take over both the house and senate. In 2018 24 senate Democrat seats are up with only 8 Republican seats. The Democrats have to keep all 24 they hold now and take at least 3 Republican seats. That means they have to prevail in 27 senate races while the Republicans only have to prevail in 6. (A tie is broken by the VP)

As of today, Hillary Clinton received 48.08% of the Popular Vote and Donald Trump received 46%, an obvious 2.08% advantage for Clinton. Also as of today (and this one's locked down) Donald Trump received 56.8% of the Electoral College Vote and Hillary Clinton 43.2%, an even more obvious 13.6% advantage for Trump. Percentage wise, well, let's see...that's well over six times (2.08% x 6=12.48%) more of a gap percentage-wise. When you mix in the secret sauce that the Popular Vote doesn't mean a single damn thing when electing a President, it was a very strong ass-kicking Trump laid on her.

I've said this very thing but it sounds better coming from him.

Trump has expressly disclosed the fraud perpetrated on the American
public by Hillary Clinton.
He has, quite literally, brought Hillary to her knees — if you believe
that nervous tension and disorders offer physical side effects and
damage.
Trump has unified the silent majority in a way that should be patently
frightening to “liberals.”
As the press accuses Trump of being a house of cards, Trump has proven
the press is the real house of cards.
He has whipped up the entire establishment into pure panic.  Trump has
exposed them for who they are and worse, what they are.

What we see as headline news today is actually the last bubbles from
the ship that is now sunk — meaning the standard news media, as a

We have mass cop shootings, riots in our streets, ambushed cops,
double digit inflation, bombs blowing up in our cities, targeted
police, a skyrocketing jobless rate, no economic growth, privately
owned land being seized by the federal government, the worst racial
tension in my lifetime, no God in schools, more abortions than ever,
illegal aliens pouring into our country, sick veterans receiving no
care, and... under Barack Obama... a national debt that DOUBLED in
just seven years to $19 TRILLION Dollars!
Are you really happy with the condition of the current system?
One man has done all of this in one year—one guy, and on his own dime.
And with everything I’ve written above, you believe Trump hasn't done
anything?
You claim that you are afraid of Donald Trump?  No wonder we’re in
trouble. You can say that Trump is a lousy presidential candidate.
That’s your right. Just don’t ever say he’s not effective.

implement their collectively orchestrated lie on the American people
against Trump, is actually a massive testament to Trump.
The press colluded pure propaganda to accomplish his demise … and they
have collectively failed and miserably.
Here's just one example of how badly America is injured right now.
There are high school football players on their knees during the
national anthem simply because the press used as propaganda to program
those kids to do that very thing.  But, these kids are mimicking NFL
stars the same way the same kids choose which brand of football shoes
to purchase — they're overtly brain-washed to do that very thing.
Now, we have a generation of children who hate America.
America’s problem isn’t that little children are on their knee in
collective disrespect of America.  Our problem is that America is on
her knee from collective disrespect by Americans.
You can disrespect America all you want.  But, it’s high-time you
respect the silent majority.  Because they’re not simply the “silent
majority” as you’ve been trained to believe when Hillary calls them
“deplorables.”
The fact is, they are simply the majority. And, now, they're no longer
silent either.
Donald Trump changed all of that, single-handedly and within one year.

You can spend all day reading and listening to why she lost but in my mind the answer is simple. There was no buzz about her, no excitement. In 2008 there was buzz about Obama and in 2016 there was buzz about Trump. When elections are this close that only a few thousand votes make the difference, buzz counts. Debate instead about why there was no buzz and you'll find out more.

Side note: I see where Biden says he'll run in 2020 when he'll be 78, HRC will be 73 as will Trump. The leaders of the DNC are all in their 70's now as am I but I suspect by 2020 the country will be ready for some young blood and if someone comes along that can generate some buzz they'll be the next president.

A football game is decided by the score, not by how many first downs a team gets. For the losing team to try to convince everyone they won because they got more first downs is silly. If you want to make getting first downs determine who wins a game then both teams will play by those rules and everything will be different. This is the same as saying you should be president because you got more popular votes. You can't change the rules to suit yourself after the game, you have to do it before you play. Trump won in a near landslide for the votes of the electoral college, which BOTH sides were competing for. NEITHER side was competing for the popular vote and the fact Hillary got more is of no consequence, it happened by accident. I would guess that if you asked her if she would trade the popular votes for the electoral votes she would say yes! Therefore any argument that says she should be president is baseless. She lost the game she was playing and by a significant margin. 56% to 44% if memory serves.

50 would be someone in the middle. Most of the country is at 50.
25 would be staunch Democrats and 75 would be staunch Republicans. The press, Hollywood and academia all fall into the 25 area. All their friends and co workers are in the 25 area. To them someone at 50 is to their right. But because most of the people they know are from 0 to 50 they think their views are right down the middle and everyone to the right of 50 is extreme. Their world view is limited by their environment. It is no wonder they think they are fair and no wonder why everyone from 50 up knows they are not.
They are upset and don't understand why Trump attacks them and they don't understand why we shout praise when he does so. After all, in their minds they are being fair. I wonder if that will ever change but I have hopes that faced with the reality of Trump they will reexamine their biases.

Why?

It's been fascinating watching all the ignorant try to understand and explain the election. If you don't understand something you can't explain it.

Long ago I said that 40% vote one way, 40% vote the other. The difference in winning is that 20%. More of that 20% wanted Trump than Clinton.

The fact that she won the popular vote is meaningless because both of them campaigned for the electoral vote, not the popular vote. Trump won that handily.

In that 20% there was no excitement for Clinton. Sparse turnout at her rallies, lack of yard signs are indicators of what that 20% felt.

There was excitement for Trump. I felt the same thing about Obama in 2008, not from me but from that 20%.

Where all the ignorant went wrong is that they never talked to that 20%, they never wondered why there were so many Trump yard signs and almost no Clinton signs. They never wondered why tens of thousands of people went to Trump rallies and almost no one showed up for Clinton ones. They just talked to themselves and ignored us.

But we vote, we won and they lost. That is the only part they understand.

Did you notice in the primaries held this past Tuesday that Trump's winning margin was in the 70+ percentile range. Apparently the people aren't listening to the elites. It would seem that the only ones listening to the elites are the elites themselves.

Trump had the highest voter turnout of any Republican in history. Meanwhile, Hillary had 8 million FEWER votes than she got in 2008 when she LOST to Obama!

The polls where people actually vote seem to be telling a completely different story than the one you read or hear from the elites.

Come November the elites will find out that wishing something won't make it so.

Something about the IG's report makes me wonder. Why now? The IG is a Dem so why not hold this till after the election or at least sugar coat it as is the norm. Why drop this bombshell now?

Then I thought about the FBI investigation. It is reasonable to assume that the Dem leadership has been given a heads up about it. Perhaps not officially but the FBI is huge and I would be amazed if they didn't have some idea where it is going. Perhaps the IG's report was a message to Hillary to get out and if she did they would bury the FBI report. Perhaps the boys in the back room don't think she can win against Trump and want someone else. Okay, maybe I'm full of it but if that's true then who would they want in her place?

Sanders is not one of them but I think he could beat Trump. Simply because he's promising so much free stuff to a demographic that doesn't realise it won't happen. They'll still vote for free every time. He would be much harder for Trump to beat than Hillary.

But the Dems don't want Sanders either because he's not establishment, they want one of their own.

Guess who's name has been popping up in the news for the last week or so. Someone we usually never hear from? Biden, Joe Biden, the VP in case you might have forgotten. Somehow they would get Sanders out and Biden in without having a civil war at the convention. Tough job that.

So am I full of crap? Maybe, I don't know but it's fun to ponder it all. BTW and for the record I think Trump would beat Hillary handily, have a tough time against Biden and likely lose to Sanders. Of course it's way too early to really say but it's something to ponder.

0-25% solid Dem

15% soft Dem

The "base" for both parties is between 25-40%. If their approval falls below 40% they are losing their base. If it's above 50% they have their base and the majority of the Independents. Above 60% and they have all that and some from the other side. Even in war it is unlikely to get above 75%. The total voting will be something around 100 million.

After all is said and done the election will come down to a few percentage points around 50%.

.

Let's look at Independents. Assume that both sides have their base, which they will by November, barring a third party run from either direction. Both sides will be working on getting the majority of the 20% of independents. If one side has 51% total then what that really means is they have 11% of the 20% independents or a percentage of 55% to the others 45% of independents. Think about that. Having 51% is a much bigger deal than it first appears. To make that even they would need to change 5 million votes!

Another thing. Remember that old term, little used lately, "The loyal opposition"

It is the duty of the opposition to represent the people who voted for them and opposing what the other side does is the right and proper thing for them to do. Somehow that gets lost in all the yelling and screaming heard today.

Left or right.

If you only listen to news sources from your side you will end up with an irrational fear and hatred of the people on the other side. Your politicians have to lie to you to make you fear the other side. News media has to overplay everything to make you watch and read them. Listening just to them makes you their slave.

You are as likely to get the truth about the left from Fox News as you are to get the truth about the right from CNN, MSNBC etc.

I watched the PBS Newshour last night for a edited limited snippet of a speech that I had listened to in full earlier in the day. What a difference! They take a snippet here, a word there and create an inaccurate narrative that is not what the person actually said.

Would you want someone to decide who and what you were by having them only asking your enemies? No, of course not. You can't make a proper and fair decision about anyone or anything by only listening to half the story. That would be like going to trial with no defence attorney to tell your side. Instead of listening to snippets of speeches from a source that is their enemy, listen to the full speech on YouTube and make up your own mind, once you have ALL the facts and not just those fed to you like you were a little baby.

Cynthia Alksne was a prosecutor before coming on MSNBC as a legal analyst She would defend Bill Clinton to the end until one fateful day. Actually it was the day after the TV interview with Broaddrick. Alksne came on and said she had been a prosecutor for many years and had interviewed hundreds of rape victims. She said she watched Broaddrick and based on her years of experience interviewing rape victims she said she believed that Bill Clinton raped Juanita Broaddrick. Cynthia Alksne was so positive of this that she said she could no longer come on TV and defend Clinton. She was never on again.

I was so impressed with her testimony that I was convinced that Bill Clinton did indeed rape Juanita Broaddrick. Do the research for yourself, don't just believe what I say.

But that's because I know the truth about her due to my living through the Clinton years. Sanders is the dems only candidate that is true to his beliefs. The dem establishment has a huge problem. It is obvious that Trump will beat Hillary. He just started on her and his numbers are up 5 points over hers. She has no legitimate answer to him saying Bill raped Juanita Broaddrick (because he did) or that she enabled Bill (which she did) or that she went after the women who Bill screwed (which she did). She isn't liked by dems who will reluctantly vote for her which will doom her campaign. They could (as many of them have) go for Sanders but while he has great numbers against Trump that's only because Trump hasn't gone after him. (which he will if need be) In truth I don't see how the dems can come close to winning this one. But I don't have a good track record on this so make up your own mind. :)

I felt that if I did that I'd still be voting for evil. How the hell are we going to change the establishment if we vote for it? It looks like Hillary is going to steal the election from Bernie because of the rigged rules. So your guys say to you that Hillary is less evil than Trump and you should vote for her. Your problem is that doing so will have you voting for evil and the very establishment that Bernie and you are fighting. With Trump I hope he can change the reps like Bernie would have changed the dems. If enough of you write in Bernie it might make the dems change. It sure as hell with be the same old, same old, if you vote for the same old, same old. Sure, Trump might win because of it. He may anyway. I know what I was prepared to do because my principles would not allow me to support evil anymore.
