Understanding bias in the media
Look at this:
0-------25-------50-------75-------100
50 would be someone in the middle. Most of the country is at 50.
25 would be staunch Democrats and 75 would be staunch Republicans. The press, Hollywood and academia all fall into the 25 area. All their friends and co workers are in the 25 area. To them someone at 50 is to their right. But because most of the people they know are from 0 to 50 they think their views are right down the middle and everyone to the right of 50 is extreme. Their world view is limited by their environment. It is no wonder they think they are fair and no wonder why everyone from 50 up knows they are not.
They are upset and don't understand why Trump attacks them and they don't understand why we shout praise when he does so. After all, in their minds they are being fair. I wonder if that will ever change but I have hopes that faced with the reality of Trump they will reexamine their biases.

Why?
It's been fascinating watching all the ignorant try to understand and explain the election. If you don't understand something you can't explain it.
Long ago I said that 40% vote one way, 40% vote the other. The difference in winning is that 20%. More of that 20% wanted Trump than Clinton.
The fact that she won the popular vote is meaningless because both of them campaigned for the electoral vote, not the popular vote. Trump won that handily.
In that 20% there was no excitement for Clinton. Sparse turnout at her rallies, lack of yard signs are indicators of what that 20% felt.
There was excitement for Trump. I felt the same thing about Obama in 2008, not from me but from that 20%.

They never wondered why tens of thousands of people went to Trump rallies and almost no one showed up for Clinton ones. They just talked to themselves and ignored us.

The BIG loser
The BIG loser is the MEDIA and I couldn't be happier. The MSM, main stream media is no more, they are losers and no one in their right mind should believe them any more.
For me I am not so much happy that he won but I am very pleased she lost. At 71 I did not want to spend a significant part of the remainder of my life reading about scandals. For this I am grateful.

That's what a liberal woman said to me years ago at a meeting for the team fighting a Flying J truckstop from coming into Preble NY. Liberals live in a bubble of liberal TV, liberal news, liberal education systems and liberal Hollywood. All their friends are liberal. They do not experience anything outside of that liberal bubble. When they experience someone who is not liberal they don't know how to deal with it. They have been brainwashed to believe that anyone who is not liberal is dumb. Rednecks, white trash etc. What they don't know, they don't know and there is little hope of breaking through years of brainwashing. Leaders on the left, the ones doing the brainwashing, know this and that is why they can lie and make outrageous claims against their opponents. They know the brainwashing will block out the truth. In this election the brainwashing included making their subjects fear Trump. Have you ever heard the term, "Nuclear codes" before this election?
They are sheep lead to the voting booth dutifully pushing the button thinking they know their own mind and doing the right thing. And they don't even know they are being controlled. Sad ain't it.
