Blaming guns for Sandy Hook is like blaming the bomb for Boston.
His problem is that he keeps pissing off the very people he needs to be on his side. He's no Johnson, but he doesn't know it. Now he's weaker for this loss and he will get little done for the remainder of his term... And that's a very good thing.
