BTW "greasing the ways" is a shipbuilding term meaning to put grease on the timbers that a ship slides on when it is launched from dry dock. WaPo is setting the stage for a Biden run as Hillary is crashing and burning due entirely to her own doing... with Bill's help. The dems see Biden as the only real alternative that would do the parties bidding in the general. He has lots of faults though so it won't be a cake walk for him.
